Birth time affects the smaller parts of exact age, specifically hours, minutes, and seconds. If you only enter a birth date, the calculator assumes midnight at the start of that day. For everyday age checks, the date alone is usually enough. For a live age clock or an exact time-based result, entering your correct birth time gives a more accurate figure.

The countdown finds the next occurrence of your birth month and birth day. If your birthday hasn't happened yet this year, it counts toward this year's birthday.
